Developer Guide
Sweet Spot does not currently expose a public write API or an MCP server. The integration surface today is intentionally read-only: a public concert-film catalog designed for retrieval, search, citation, and lightweight ingestion. If you are building an agent, an internal tool, or a catalog workflow, think of Sweet Spot as a structured discovery layer for concert-film metadata rather than as a transactional product. The public surface is meant to answer practical questions about a release, its best documented format, and where a lawful stream or purchase link exists.
Browser agents that implement WebMCP can use the read-only search_sweet_spot_catalog tool registered by the web app. The tool searches by title, artist, genre, video or surround-audio format, and editorial tag, then returns canonical records with provider links. This browser tool is distinct from a standalone MCP server and may not be available in browsers that do not expose the WebMCP API.
The most useful entry points are the root Markdown page, the agent guide, the complete Markdown catalog, and the structured JSON catalog. Those resources provide stable concert URLs, artist slugs, release dates, runtimes, IMDb references, provider links, and local WebP cover-image URLs. The XML sitemap, AI catalog, API catalog, and agent-skills index exist to make that surface easier for automated clients to discover without guessing.
For implementation details, read the agent instructions, inspect the OpenAPI description, or discover the catalog through ARD. Public catalog reads do not require authentication. Sweet Spot does not currently offer a public write API, OAuth client registration, SDK, CLI, or MCP server.
Sweet Spot is independent and does not host the films it catalogs. Provider availability and pricing can change, especially for niche retailers, out-of-print discs, and region-specific streaming services. Agents should follow the linked provider page before making a purchase recommendation, and should treat a remaster or premium-format reissue as an update to an existing concert unless the filmed performance is genuinely different. If you need a correction, a missing title, or a broken provider link reviewed, email founders@sweetspot.stream with the title and a supporting source.
