The Rolling Stones: Totally Stripped - Paris L'Olympia 1995
During the ‘Voodoo Lounge’ world tour, which took place in gigantic stadiums between 1994 and 1995, the Rolling Stones decided to give a handful of intimate and stripped-down concerts in small venues, in the ‘unplugged’ spirit of the time. 2000 lucky fans were able to attend the unique concert at the Olympia in Paris on July 3, 1995, right after two giant concerts at the Hippodrome de Longchamp. Tracks from the Olympia concert were already released in 2016 as part of the reissue of the documentary ‘Totally Stripped,’ but they were mixed with tracks from the Paradiso in Amsterdam and the Brixton Academy in London, recorded under the same conditions. This is therefore the first time that this highly anticipated concert is being released on its own and in its entirety.
